A Note from Gretchen:

When I first began selling antique jewelry one of my favorite customers purchased a bracelet engraved with a name that wasn’t her name. I will never forget her comment that she would wear it and remember a person so loved that they had their name on a piece of jewelry. This piece had made it through years and found its stopping point with my customer. 

I have always remembered that. That customer has passed, but her words found a core place in my business. I honor that customer each time I find a "next chapter" for one of these unique pieces. 

Like many trades, hand engraving could be a dying art in this era. To hold on to such beauty is a wonderful way to preserve the talented engravers.
